Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru (1889-1964)

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru (1889-1964) was a self professed atheist and humanist. He promoted science and scientific outlook and his discovery of India horse on the necessity of scientific temper. He held that "No country or people who are slaves to dogma and dogmatic mentality can progress".
