Sir Francis Bacon (1561-1656) was a practitioner of the scientific revolution. He championed inductive method and believed that anyone who would like to develop personal philosophy should have free one’s mind from certain false notions or tendencies which distort the truth. He revolutionized the thinking pattern of the people.
