Charles Bradlaugh

Charles Bradlaugh (1833-1891) was a well known Atheist from England. Bradlaugh was elected to British parliament. But he was not allowed to enter the parliament as he was an atheist because of him the sector method of confirmation came into the statute, enabling atheists to take affirmation in the name of truth. He was president of National secular society and a great champion of India in British Parliament.
